blown glass, muranoThe first time I saw blown glass, I fell in love with it.  It is so gorgeous and amazing!  There are so many things that are made with glass.  There is home decor like vases, they are always a beautiful piece of home decor.   Then there are sculptures and other art that are made by glass artists.  There is jewelry made with glass like pendants and beaded bracelets or necklaces.  Murano is a brand of glass that is well known for it's high quality glass jewelry.  They have been making it for hundreds of years, and it is the most gorgeous glass.  I love to browse the internet and just look at all of the amazing creations that glass artists have made.  I have seen perfume bottles, platters, paperweights, candle holders, and bowls in blown glass.  Once I watched a movie where they were showing how blown glass was made.  It was so fascinating and ever since then I have enjoyed looking at and buying it.  I would love to learn how to make it myself someday, as well.
