Hand Blown Glass
Ever since I saw pictures from my sister’s trip to Italy, I’ve been in love with hand blown glass. I couldn’t believe some of the amazing artwork that the Italians have created with hand blown glass and would love to take a trip across the big pond and see it for myself. My sister had a feeling that I would love the hand blown glass, and she actually brought me a piece back from Italy and gave it to me for Christmas.
Since Christmas, I have been shopping online and have ordered two more pieces of hand blown glass in my very small, but growing collection. I have a feeling that the pieces should arrive sometime this week, or at least that’s my hope, and I already have a special place in my home chosen for them. As I browsed online through the pieces available, I actually felt as though I was standing in a shop in the middle of Italy. The work is amazing, and no two pieces are alike. I have a feeling that my collection is going to grow substantially this year, and if anyone needs gift ideas, I know what to tell them I want- hand blown glass.
