murano, hand blown glass I am such a sucker for hand blown glass and stained glass. I spent an hour searching online today for Murano glass jewelry and found some really nice pieces. Last month I ordered stained glass window film and I really liked it. The sun shines through in the late afternoon, sprinkling a beautiful pattern on the floor. We also wanted some privacy out of that window and that was an easy, decorative way to do it. Since that window film has been up, I'm spending my late afternoon hours in that room catching up on some work and enjoying a relaxing cup of tea. That's why I got the idea of adding a few pieces of Murano jewelry to my collection. I'd like to be able to wear some art as well as see it at home, so I ordered a couple of bracelets in the Murano glass style. Even when I'm not wearing them, I can admire them. I hang all my bracelets on a jewelry holder and they sit on the vanity, but if I am working and want to look at something small and beautiful, I can always place one of those bracelets on my desk to admire it all day long.
