I have always loved hand blown glass in any shape and form. I have in my own home, vases, bowls and other shaped décor items to accent table tops and shelves. The hand blown glass really shows off, if it can be placed where the sun’s rays can shine through. The colors and beauty of the glass make it a beautiful display. My friend moved into a much smaller space and sold many of her household furniture and items. She wanted to start fresh and will decorate in a new trendy style for her much smaller spaces. Gone was her big, dark wood furniture and older couches and chairs. She says she got rid of most of her dusty collecting knick-knacks too. I was looking online for a house warming gift for her when I visit her soon. When she is over my place, she has commented on all my blown glass and Murano glass. This was all the hint I needed to know what gift to give her. While online, I found a beautiful pinkish-hue bowl that would look great on any table. There were other items too, but I will save those blown glass items for another occasion. I can’t wait to see where she will display her first decor glass item.
