Hand Blown Anything Holds a Special Meaning |

I was always taught that the price of a present doesn’t mean anything if there isn’t a personal touch attached. This idea is reinforced every single year when I ask my mom what she wants for her birthday and she responds with all I want is a nice birthday card. She is more interested in some kind words then a gift certificate to get a pedicure even though I am sure she doesn’t mind a trip down to the nail salon. Hand blown anything has this personal touch trait. I have never blown glass before but from what I heard from my dad who took a class on it, it is far from easy. Anything where hard work is put in instead of just handing over a credit card holds a higher degree of value to me.
Hand blown items are a fantastic example of a thoughtful gift especially if the piece is made by your own hands. Hand blown products even when purchased hold a certain value that comes with anything handcrafted. Past all this sentimental stuff, hand blown products are just cool to look at.
