blown glass, blown glass pendantWhenever I go visit Helen, GA, there is one particular store where they perform the art of making hand blown glass articles.  These artists make everything from blown glass animals, angels, fairies, and jewelry.  While last there, I found the most stunning blown glass pendant.  It had a slight tinge of blue to it, and it was in a double-heart shape.  There was not another in the store.  I waited until I got home to go online and find a store that specialized in hand blow glass items. 

Although I found an internet store that had blown glass, I did not see anything like that blown glass pendant.  However, I did find several others I really liked, and they were priced much more reasonably.  I even found a paper weight and some glass vases I thought I might purchase as gifts.  There are some occasions when a hand blown item makes the perfect gift for the perfect circumstance.  After all, these are most often one-of-a-kind, and when something is that special, the person receiving the gift knows it!
