glass vases, hand blownI can remember the day I gave birth to my daughter.  It was such a special day, and I remember my sister walking into the hospital room carrying in a couple of glass vases with filled with beautiful flowers.  One of the glass vases was filled with pink and white roses, and the other one was holding pink and white carnations.  She told me that one of the glass vases was from my aunt, who lived out of state, and she had asked my sister pick out some beautiful flowers to give to me on my special day! 

The next bouquet of flowers I remember receiving was when I was married.  I received a hand blown clear glass vase with gorgeous red roses from my husband on our wedding day.  I'll never forget how shocked I was that he would think to give me such a thoughtful gift!  I believe that beautiful hand blown glass vase made the flowers look even more beautiful!  It was at that time I decided that I would love to start a collection of glass vases.

The years have passed and I've received so many special glass vases, and each one holds precious memories for me.  I know that a lot of love was involved in choosing each of my glass vases, so I'll cherish them forever!
