blown glass, murano


I thought I was not familiar with murano glass jewelry. That is until I looked on line at their website. Once I saw the beautiful beads I knew exactly what they were. I have always loved these beads but never knew what they were called. Crazy!

I learned through my website education that the hand blown glass has been around for centuries. It comes from Murano, Italy and is skillfully hand crafted with a special glass blowing technique. The items I saw were reasonably priced. Everything was simply gorgeous and very brightly colored.

Really anything you can imagine has been made with this beautiful and versatile hand blown glass. I also saw many home decorating items such as frames, silverware, letter openers, wall clocks and wine bottle openers. Again, it seems the blown glass can be made into anything your heart desires!    

Now, that I know what I know about murano hand blown glass, I plan to place an order. And not only for myself but I am thinking about the upcoming holidays. I saved the website in my favorites and will visit it again very soon!
