The glass vases sparkled and caught my eye when I walked into the banquet hall. I admired the clean lines and classic look of the entire table setting. The glass vases filled with fresh flowers was the final touch. Tonight was going to be perfect. Everything was under control and in order. The band was booked and should be showing up shortly. The DJ was already setting up to play music during dinner and the band intermissions. The caterers had the food cooking in the kitchen, filling the hall with wonderful scents. The buffet tables set up already and were waiting for the food. My first event was going unexpectedly smoothly. All my planning and effort was paying off hopefully resulting in an uneventful event. I needed everything to go perfect. I took a big breath and steeled myself for the event to start and guests to arrive. It is time for me to get in position to greet any early guests. As I left the room I readjusted a couple of glass vases to sit perfectly in the middle of the table and show off the flowers better. Now it was perfect.
