Blown Glass Pendant
My mother has always been on top of current fashion. She usually has the newest thing before it becomes the newest thing. Not surprising seeing as she is one of the fashion writers for the local newspaper. She is always researching and seeking the newest trend. So it is not unexpected to see her with something new and unusual.
Today she outdid herself. She had on a stunning necklace. It had a wonderful bluish green blown glass pendant like nothing I have seen before. The shape and color of the blown glass pendant complemented her outfit. She admitted to me that she actually purchased the outfit to go with the blown glass pendant, not the other way around. My mother will use any excuse to buy more clothing but usually her jewelry is the accent. For the first time ever she dressed around a piece of jewelry. That alone says a lot about the necklace. It worked though. Quite a few people asked where she got her necklace. Being true to form she told them all they would have to read about it in the paper. She told me she bought it online.
