When wearing jewelry, often we will select a blown glass piece to wear.  This type of jewelry is easy to mix and match with other jewelry.  It fits with most any outfit or occasion, and it can be worn both casually or formally.  A hand blown glass pendant is often given as a symbol of an animal or heart.  The process is so difficult and special to produce hand blown glass that if you find a place that actually does hand blown glass jewelry, you have found a treasure.  Blown glass ornaments are equally as beautifully, and highly collectible.

If you are a collector, you must maintain your hand blown glass jewelry carefully.  You should store the pieces separately, clean them separately, and it would not hurt to either wrap them individually or keep them on a soft piece of material by themselves.  Now the plain crystal earrings can be kept with the other earrings; but, the necklaces, charms, etc. should be in another location.  Personally, I love hand blown glass jewelry, and I love giving it as gifts.  Just be mindful of whom you are giving the gift to as well as make it an age appropriate gift.
