Blown Glass Pendant
My best friend showed up at school today with a stunning blown glass pendant. I had never seen anything like it before. I really want one as well. Of course all day she would not tell me where she got the blown glass pendant. In a way I understood. Everyone was asking her where she got it. They all want to have a blown glass pendant as well. I guess she started the new trend at school. The problem was that once everyone had one hers would not be unusual and different anymore.
Finally she told me at the end of the day that her mother got it for her. She did not know where her mom actually found it. All she knew was that her mom had ordered it online. I could deal with that. After school I asked her mom where she got it. The site had hundreds of different blown glass pendants. I asked my mom if she would order one for me. I found a couple I really liked and they are nothing like the one my friend has. Now I am just waiting to see if mom is going to get me one or not. I think she will. She was talking about ordering a pair of blown glass earrings for herself.
